The first part of the sociological study “Systemic support for the families of the missing and the civilian prisoners: the voices of families”

We are ready to present the results of a study conducted specifically for the topic of finding the missing by our volunteer researcher in the field of sociology.

🔎 What is important to know:

• Families often do not have confirmed information about loved ones

• Communication with institutions — irregular and formal

• Most are forced to search for answers on their own

💔 Psycho-emotional state

Constant anxiety, exhaustion, life on standby.

Even those who “hold on” often experience hidden stress.

🧠 About Support

Most do not turn to psychologists, but have a request for:

• short consultations

• practical self-help tools

• support without obligation

📢 The main problem is information

Not enough:

• regular updates

• transparency of processes

• clear algorithm of actions

👉 The key need is the feeling of movement and indifference of the system.

🧩 What families need:

• financial and humanitarian support

• help with documents

• affordable medical care

• clear navigation

📌 What can help:

✔️ regular communication

✔️ single information platform

✔️ Personalized contact

✔️ Flexible formats support

This is the first part of the study.

In the second, we will talk about legal issues, interaction with organizations and the need for the community.
