“Dream Dance” is a charitable initiative of the Kateryna Osadcha Foundation, implemented within the Vienna Charity Ball in Kyiv, which combines art, social support and opportunities for children from foster families.

As part of the initiative, four girls from family-type orphanages became debutants of the 2026 Vienna Ball in Kyiv and took to the floor together with professional partners, preparing to perform during several weeks of intensive training.

Training participants included 2—3 workouts per week for about a month, during which the girls mastered waltz, secular etiquette, self-presentation skills, and confident interaction with partners.

The initiative became part of a large charity event that in 2026 in Kyiv raised more than 1.4 million hryvnias to support social projects, including helping children and families.

Each participant has their own life story — experience of loss, relocation and difficult circumstances, but it was the support of foster families and social environment that gave them the opportunity to stand on the floor of the Vienna Ball as an equal among equals.

Within the project, special attention is paid not only to artistic experience, but also to the formation of confidence, social skills and a sense of self-worth, which become the basis for the future development of adolescents.

“Dream Dance” is more than just participating in a ball. It is about an experience that changes children's perceptions of their own possibilities and proves: the support of family and community can turn a dream into a reality.
