“Family Christmas for every child” is a charitable holiday event of the Kateryna Osadcha Foundation, created to give children who grow up without parental care a sense of family, care and community.

The event brought together about 500 participants — foster families, guardians and caretakers from different regions of Ukraine, who gathered together for the largest Christmas dinner.

The central symbol of the evening was a 150-meter festive table, behind which children and adults shared a joint dinner. The atmosphere of the event was created thanks to large-scale teamwork: 150 kg of kutia, about 5,000 dumplings and 260 sweet rolls were prepared, on which 40 chefs and waiters of the restaurants “Mafia” and the team “Together”, as well as partners of YAPICO worked.

The festive space was complemented by decorations — 100 Christmas trees, which were provided by the KVAZAR team, creating the atmosphere of a real family Christmas.

To make the event possible for families from different regions of Ukraine, logistics were organized, in particular 10 cars of Ukrzaliznytsia, which delivered children and their companions to the capital.

“Family Christmas for Every Child” became not only a festive event, but also a space where hundreds of children were able to experience what is often lacking in everyday life — the warmth of home, acceptance and the presence of adults who can be trusted.
