About the Kateryna Osadcha Foundation

The Kateryna Osadcha Foundation is a charitable organization focused on addressing complex social issues that often fall outside the scope of state support.

The Foundation’s team consists of media professionals, volunteers, and experts united by shared values: freedom, dignity, openness to new ideas, and agility. Following the full-scale invasion in 2022, the organization focused its efforts on supporting children who have lost their parents, searching for missing civilians, and providing career guidance for youth.

The Foundation operates through charitable contributions and donor funding, in close partnership with UNICEF Ukraine.

Program Information

The program is implemented by the Kateryna Osadcha Foundation in partnership with UNICEF Ukraine and expands upon the parties' previous collaboration across two strategic areas: social and behavioral change (SBC) communication in the field of child protection and alternative care, and the development of career management skills for youth.

About the project

This position is implemented as part of the activity "Building the capacity of the State Employment Service (SES) to apply SBC approaches to youth career engagement," which is a component of the "Career Management Skills" section of this Program.

This activity includes training that will provide SES specialists with the skills and tools necessary to independently conduct behavior change communication aimed at youth and caregivers regarding career development.

Combining structured training with practical, ready-to-use tools will enable state institutions to continue performing career guidance and youth engagement functions after the activity implementation period concludes.

The activity is part of the Program's broader systems strengthening strategy, aimed at building the capacity of national-level government agencies to facilitate the recovery of human capital.
