About the Kateryna Osadcha Foundation

The Kateryna Osadcha Foundation is a charitable organization focused on addressing complex social issues that often fall outside the scope of state support. 

The Foundation’s team consists of media professionals, volunteers, and experts united by shared values: freedom, dignity, openness to new ideas, and agility. Following the full-scale invasion in 2022, the organization focused its efforts on supporting children who have lost their parents, searching for missing civilians, and providing career guidance for youth. 

The Foundation operates through charitable contributions and donor funding, in close partnership with UNICEF Ukraine.

Program Information

The program is implemented by the Kateryna Osadcha Foundation in partnership with UNICEF Ukraine, expanding the parties' previous collaboration across two strategic areas: Social and Behavior Change (SBC) communication in child protection and alternative care, and the development of career management skills for youth.

The "Better Care" component extends the Foundation's proven operational model to humanitarian and conflict-affected regions (Cherkasy, Chernihiv, Kirovohrad, Sumy, Ternopil, and Zaporizhzhia regions), where children face an increased risk of family separation and institutionalization. Implementation includes community family picnics and photo exhibitions, new episodes of the documentary series "A Family for Every Child," support clubs for caregivers and teenagers, and a national mentorship program featuring public figures.

The "Career Management Skills" component addresses a national priority identified by the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine and the State Employment Service: bridging the gap between education and youth employment. Building on the "My Path — Career Trajectories" pilot program, this component involves refining evidence-based methodology, developing it into a replicable toolkit, training municipal practitioners using a training-of-trainers approach in 5 communities, and building the capacity of the State Employment Service to apply SBC approaches in communication with youth.

About the project

This position is implemented as part of the "Career Management Skills" component of this Program and draws directly on the "My Path — Career Trajectories" methodology and the experience of its implementation in 5 target communities.

The outcomes of this position—the Technical Working Group's decisions and the costed model—form the basis for dialogue regarding the national scaling of the methodology.

Subject of procurement under the Program

Convening a Technical Working Group (TWG) with key Program stakeholders and developing a costed model for the "My Path — Career Trajectories" career management methodology for replication (scaling) at the level of territorial communities in Ukraine.

Responsibilities: Costing and Scale-Up Expert

• Organizing and facilitating the Technical Working Group (TWG) with the participation of the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine, the State Employment Service, and local self-government bodies;
• Developing a costed model for the "My Path — Career Trajectories" methodology (cost per community, scaling scenarios, and financing options);
• Preparing an analytical report with the rationale for the model and recommendations for national scaling;
• Coordinating with the Lead Methodology Author, Capacity Building Expert, and Senior Accountant.

Period: 3 months

Workload: Full-time (100%)

Form of cooperation: contract with a Group 3 sole proprietorship (FOP)
