About the Kateryna Osadcha Foundation

The Kateryna Osadcha Foundation is a charitable organization focused on addressing complex social issues that often fall outside the scope of state support. 

The Foundation’s team consists of media professionals, volunteers, and specialists united by shared values: freedom, dignity, openness to new ideas, and agility. Following the full-scale invasion in 2022, the organization focused its efforts on supporting children who have lost their parents, searching for missing civilians, and providing career guidance for youth. 

The Foundation operates through charitable contributions and donor funding, in close partnership with UNICEF Ukraine.

Program Information

The program is implemented by the Kateryna Osadcha Foundation in partnership with UNICEF Ukraine, expanding the parties' previous collaboration across two strategic areas: Social and Behavior Change (SBC) communication in child protection and alternative care, and the development of career management skills for youth.

The "Career Management Skills" component addresses a national priority identified by the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine and the State Employment Service: bridging the gap between education and youth employment. Building on the "My Path — Career Trajectories" pilot program, this component involves refining evidence-based methodology, developing it into a replicable toolkit, training municipal practitioners using a training-of-trainers approach in 5 communities, and building the capacity of the State Employment Service to apply SBC approaches in communication with youth.

Subject of Procurement under the Program

Development and delivery of training using a training-of-trainers approach for municipal practitioners in 5 target communities and/or training for State Employment Service representatives (150 people) on applying SBC approaches in career communication with youth and caregivers. The activity budget provides for 3 in-person workshops (up to 25 participants each, full day) and 2 online sessions, involving 2 facilitators and 1 facilitator assistant. Two positions are being announced; the specific focus (municipal level or national State Employment Service level) will be agreed upon with the Client at the contract stage.

Responsibilities: Capacity Development Expert

• Conducting 3 in-person workshops (up to 25 participants, full day) and 2 online sessions for municipal practitioners in 5 communities or State Employment Service representatives;
• Training using a training-of-trainers/SBC approach for one of the two target audiences, to be specified upon contract signing;
• Technical quality control of training content and adaptation based on the results of participant knowledge assessments.

Service delivery period

Estimated service period: 9 months

Workload: part-time (50%), approximately 20 facilitation days per training cycle

Cooperation format: contract with a Group 3 sole proprietorship (FOP)

Format: hybrid — 3 in-person workshops + 2 online sessions, with mandatory travel to target communities/regions (up to 3 trips per training cycle)
